Mike Singletary is perhaps most recognized as one of the Chicago Bears’ toughest middle linebackers. Singletary was a key member of the 1985 Super Bowl championship team and became known for his fierce intensity, leadership and dedication both on and off the field.

• Singletary was a 10-time Pro Bowl selection, 10-time All-Pro and three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named to the NFL Team of the 1980s and served as the Bears’ team captain for 10 seasons.
• A cornerstone of the legendary 1985 Chicago Bears defense, Singletary was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998. He finished his career with 1,488 tackles and started a Bears defensive-record 172 games.
• Beyond football, Singletary is a respected leader, motivational speaker and community advocate. He has dedicated much of his work to leadership development and improving the quality of life for underserved communities, with a focus on education, health care and employment opportunities.
